Selling an old mobile could allow for new LG handset
4 May 2010 — 7:00 PM
Mobile recycling with Envirofone may be worth considering for those wanting to get the new LG Viewty GT.
The device is available through 3UK for as little as £15 per month and features a touchscreen and - according to the mobile network - easy-access to social networking sites.
Sylvia Chind, head of branded devices at 3UK, suggested that social networking networking can help users stay up to date with tweets and "on the pulse with the latest pictures uploaded on to Facebook", while also proving easy and affordable.
She added that social networking has taken off in a big way recently.
This may mean that those without access to sites such as Facebook while on the go could wish to upgrade, something that might be possible by selling an old phone with Envirofone.
Recent research from 3UK found that 60 per cent of Britons would be more likely to or would consider travelling in a taxi with Wi-Fi.
