Used phones could pay for new Nokia app handset

Your used mobile phone could help pay for a brand new Nokia app-ready handset.
Following the success of the iPhone, Nokia and other manufacturers are working hard to bring out new app-using handsets. Working just as hard are the companies creating the apps, the Nokia Conversations blog said.
While the Nokia engineers are working on new models and the marketing people at Ovi are coming up with promo videos featuring bizarre modes of transport, the guys at Nokia's official online blog are sifting through the apps, picking out the best for the latest S60 third-edition devices.
Particular praise has been lavished on apps that can revolutionise your mobile phone and give it a spring clean.
One such app is the SMS Threader, which works much like the iPhone, grouping together messages sent from the same person. Handy when you need to find just one message from someone in a pile of texts from several different people.
For those who want a brand new Nokia app handset and try out these new features, recycling old mobile phones could cut the cost of the latest mobile models.
