Firms could sell mobiles to free up cash for iPhones

Firms may wish to consider selling their existing mobile phones and using the cash from Envirofone to buy several Apple iPhones.
This could help them maximise their advertising potential, with one expert suggesting the device is showing the industry the potential of mobile marketing.
Christian Louca, managing director at YOC UK, says the iPhone is helping "to show the industry what can be achieved" by promoting through the handset.
He adds "advertising in apps can offer a lucrative opportunity," with the UK's significant number of iPhone users exposed to advertising material through their mobile phone.
Apple last month added the iAd app, which is a marketing platform that allows firms the chance to offer a "better user experience".
Meanwhile, businesses with a strong US focus may be interested in advertising through mobile operating system Symbian, which has a click-through rate on the other side of the Atlantic that is twice as large as Apple.
