Cash in on used phone ahead of iPhone 4 release
8 June 2010 — 2:13 PM
Fans of Apple could get their hands on an iPhone 4 by selling their used mobile phone.
The US company's much-awaited next generation of the device will be available from Orange on June 24th, but those needing a bit of extra cash to afford the model could get a return on their old mobile.
Orange is set to release information on pre-registration, pricing and tariff plans before the iPhone is officially released in the UK, but Apple has already offered enthusiasts a look at the new features.
The device has the highest resolution ever for a smartphone, with a 960-by-640-pixel 3.5-inch screen to make images, text and even high-definition video look crisp and sharp.
With increased ability to multitask and a new video phone app called FaceTime, the iPhone 4 is also the smallest on the market, at a thin ten-millimetre depth.
Battery life is also optimised and operations made quicker with the A4 processor.
