Vodafone launches 360 Shop for Android
17 June 2010 — 10:17 AM
Vodafone has announced the launch of its new 360 Shop for users of Android devices on the network.
Consumers who want to get more from their handset may wish to consider selling their used mobile phones for cash in order to make an upgrade to a new device.
Lee Epting, director of content services at Vodafone Group, stated a third of the store's catalogue is exposed each day, providing good value for developers, as well as customers.
He said: "Developers want to know that their app will be seen by consumers and the 360 Shop on Android has been designed to maximise opportunities for content promotion"
Vodafone recently announced plans to expand its own range of handsets with phones such as the 845 and 546, which promise to provide users access to the internet while on the move.
There is also a range of new ultra-low cost phones aimed at developing markets.
