Selling old mobile may help Three customers make upgrade
6 July 2010 — 7:04 PM
Three customers may now be in the ideal position to sell an old mobile phone and attain one of two of the latest models.
Both the HTC Wildfire and the Sony Ericsson X10 Mini Pro are now available via the network.
The company is offering each of the handsets to consumers with a choice of colours and a free six-month subscription to Spotify.
People who purchase the X10 Mini Pro will be getting the "best of both worlds", according to Three, which says its mix of touchscreen display and qwerty keyboard make it easy to use.
Meanwhile, the Wildfire device is described as "perfect" for browsing the internet and it also offers a high-resolution camera.
Choosing either phone may be a step up from a current used handset, which could be recycled for cash with Envirofone.
Sony Ericsson is a joint venture between the two companies and was set up in 2001.
