Is Nokia N900 worth selling an old mobile for?
20 July 2010 — 11:50 AM
People who sell an old mobile and invest in a Nokia N900 will be obtaining a phone that "has some tricks up its sleeve".
Rhiain, writing for the Nokia Conversations blog, says the device can act as a robot, keep a user in touch with friends and offer similar qualities to an Etch-a-Sketch.
"Now, if you're a bit handy with a pencil, it can transform into an artist's sketchbook," the author explains.
A link from the blog invites readers to view a video clip of an N900 owner creating a drawing with the mobile phone.
People with a passion for art may feel such a feature is worth cashing in on their used phones for and putting the money towards one of the Nokia models.
The Finnish brand's upcoming releases are due to include the N8, which it says will offers users a 12-megapixel camera and the latest video recording technology.
Julie Snape, head of marketing at Envirofone, says: "If you're thinking of upgrading to an arty handset like this one, a really convenient way is to trade-in your old phone for cash."
