Individuals who fancy a touchscreen phone may want to consider selling their old mobile to buy one of LG's new Wink handsets.
The Wink, Wink 3G and Wink Style will be available in Europe this month and have been designed for the younger market or those new to touch phones.
Designed to fit comfortably in your hand, the LG Wink is compact, yet comes with a 2.4 inch screen.
The Wink 3G has advanced email options, faster connectivity and also "alerts users when messages are sent to any of their email addresses", the manufacturer stated.
A range of colours are available for the Wink Style handset, "making it one of the most fashionable full-touch phones on the market".
All of the mobiles in the range have virtual qwerty keypads which can be switched from portrait to landscape to make texting more convenient.
Last month, in an article for CNET UK, Charles Kloet suggested mobile fans who want to upgrade could consider the LG Optimus GT540, as it is "sleek model" with a "premium appearance".
Jon Bulter, creative brand manager at Envirofone, commented: "Touch screen phones seem to be increasing in popularity. To get one for yourself, it could be as easy as trading in your old handset for cash."
