Sell old mobile and watch live TV on Nokia device
9 September 2010 — 3:56 PM
People who sell an old mobile for cash may be wise to invest the money in a Nokia handset and a piece of kit that allows users to watch live television.
Ian, author of the Nokia Conversations blog, explains the brand has come up with a receiver just for for mobile phones.
The unique add-on, the first of its kind from any firm, means people with a Nokia device can watch their favourite shows, sports events and catch up with the news without having to find an internet connection.
People enjoying the technology will not even miss a call or text message, as the product receives a signal in the same way so communications will come through even when the television is being watched.
Such an application may be considered by some to be the next step up from viewing video clips on a mobile.
One handset that may be perfect for adding the receiver to is the Nokia N8, which is set for release on September 30th.
