The Nokia C7 is to be stocked by the mobile network Three

People who sell an old mobile for cash with Envirofone could put the money towards a deal on the new Nokia C7 with Three.

The network is to offer the device, which features built-in access and live updates from Facebook and Twitter, once it is released.

Other specifications of the phone that could appeal to consumers include a link from the home screen straight to emails and an eight-megapixel camera.

Sylvia Chind, head of branded devices at Three, says: "Our customers know how to make the most of our fast and reliable 3G network. Pairing the Nokia C7 with our network gives our customers the best Symbian 3 experience possible."

The handset also contains a 3.5-inch glass display that could help to persuade users that selling an old mobile and switching to the Nokia C7 is the right move.

Three recently announced plans for a new tariff that will make mobile internet available to everybody, with a £10 top-up being rewarded with 100 minutes, 3,000 texts and 500MB of web browsing.

Jon Butler, creative brand manager at Envirofone, says: "If you're looking for value for money as well as great technology, this handset and network package may be for you. Why not upgrade? You could trade in your old phone for cash at the same time."
