Should X Factor fans recycle mobile phone in favour of Nokia handset?

Nokia has the rights to an exclusive X Factor app.

X Factor fans may have the perfect reason to recycle a mobile phone and switch to a Nokia device this autumn.

The Finnish brand is offering an exclusive app for the ITV singing show that allows users to hear more backstage gossip, watch audition videos and catch up with the latest news.

Adam, writing the Nokia Conversations blog, says there is plenty to entertain and amuse those with a passion for the programme.

"You can catch up on bits from previous episodes, tune into some of the better performers and gawp at some of the worst. This, as it turns out, was one of my favourite bits of the app," he states.

Consumers with a Nokia handset can even share parts of the app with friends on social networking sites.

The X Factor audition stage is now over as the countdown to find a champion to follow in the footsteps of Joe McElderry, Leona Lewis and Shayne Ward begins.
