Those looking for the latest phones could be tempted by a recent review that considers a new model from HTC.
Mobile Burn looks at the manufacturer's S740 smartphone and states that by not equipping the model with a touchscreen it has bucked the current trend for the sector.
However, it notes that in terms of style, design, size and performance the mobile is "a real winner".
"It's good looking, quite capable and gives users a lot of flexibility when it comes to text input," the article suggests.
The site goes on to praise the inclusion of features such as 3g and HSDPA connectivity and says it is also equipped with a three-megapixel camera and full qwerty keyboard.
With the onboard Microsoft operating system, access to Windows Media player is also an option - although the manufacturer has included its own software.
HTC has a number of other models available - such as the Excalibur, Touch or Dash - and was the firm behind the T Mobile G1.
