Those who sell a mobile phone may find an updated version of the HTC Desire is the perfect replacement for their outgoing handset.
Asavin Wattanajantra, writing for CNET UK, says the network Three is launching an upgrade of the device so that it runs on the Android 2.2 Froyo operating system.
Starting from 09:00 BST this morning (October 14th), the new package will allow users to benefit from faster speeds, extra features and improved functionality.
"We've been working closely with HTC to make sure the update delivers the best possible experience for our customers," Three's head of branded handsets Sylvia Chind is quoted as saying.
Meanwhile, the author reveals owners of the Samsung Galaxy S could be the next to get upgrades to their phones, with Samsung also said to have been testing Android 2.2 recently.
Another option for those looking to replace a sold used phone is the HTC Desire HD, which is due to be released next week.
