BlackBerry Curve 9360 3 Stars
Look and feel
A tidy handset measuring 11mm thick and weighing 99g. It looks businesslike, as we’ve come to expect from BlackBerrys.
Ease of use
If you’re not used to BlackBerry’s OS it may take a bit of getting used to.
Not much in the way of apps, but the screen is decent, even if it isn’t a touchscreen. Excellent QWERTY keyboard, Wi-Fi, A-GPS and HSPDA. And NFC capability too.
The 800MHz processor offers decent performance while the camera is a five-megapixel model that’s a great improvement on the two-megapixel version on the last Curve
You’ll need to charge it every day unless you avoid using sat-nav and Wi-Fi
- Great keyboard; cheaper than other BlackBerrys; usual BlackBerry functionality
- No touchscreen; disappointing choice of apps
- Look and Feel 3 Stars
- Ease of use 3 Stars
- Features 3 Stars
- Performance 3 Stars
- Battery life 2 Stars
Final verdict: 3 Stars
With no touchscreen and a poor choice of apps, we think you’d be better off looking at one of the Android handsets that has a decent keyboard at a lower price
