LG GT505 3 Stars
Look and feel
The neat design and small chassis size make the GT505 an ideal phone to slip into your pocket.
Ease of use
The resistive touch-screen can be hard work in use, but the interface is user friendly. We found texting was somewhat challenging.
While the GT505 offers a good range of features from an FM Radio to Orange Maps, it seems odd that there is no social networking app.
The GT505 does the job in a workmanlike manner, but it’s hardly spectacular in its performance.
The battery life is pretty good – you won’t have to recharge every day, despite the fact that the GT505 has a touch-screen with a reasonably large display.
- Handy size, nice styling, decent camera.
- Texting is hard; the touch-screen is sluggish and there is no 3.5mm headphone jack.
- Look and Feel 4 Stars
- Ease of use 2 Stars
- Features 4 Stars
- Performance 3 Stars
- Battery life 3 Stars
Final verdict: 3 Stars
For anyone after a touch-screen phone but with no need for thousands of apps, the GT505 offers an affordable and usable option.
