Nokia C3-01 Touch and Type 4 Stars« Back to reviews
Look and feel
This small aluminium phone achieves the double, being light without being cheap, with decent-sized keys and offering a capacitive touch-screen.
Ease of use
The C3-01 runs on Nokia’s own system for non smartphones, Symbian S40. It lacks customisability for the home screen but still offers a smooth user experience.
For a phone at this price point it still offers plenty in the way of features, including push email, fast HSDPA internet and a five-megapixel snapper plus LED flash.
The C3-01’s performance is excellent and we like the way that the combination of touch-screen and keypad work together.
A full charge should see you through a few days, thanks to the fact that there aren’t a huge amount of advanced features to use up the power.
- Texting and calling are simple; fast web browsing; using touch-screen and keys provides intuitive navigation.
- Customising the home screen is not straightforward; built-in memory is a measly 30MB.
- Look and Feel 4 Stars
- Ease of use 4 Stars
- Features 4 Stars
- Performance 4 Stars
- Battery life 4 Stars
Final verdict: 4 Stars
For a step up from Nokia’s basic device, choose the C3-01 Touch and Type.
