Orange to launch iPhone on November 10th

Tuesday, 03 November 2009 — 11:37 AM

iPhone soon to be available on Orange

People who are selling their mobile phones and looking for a new model might want to put November 10th in their diaries.

This is because at 07:00 GMT, Orange stores will be opening its doors to customers for the iPhone 3G and 3GS.

Both models will be available on pay as you go or pay monthly price plans.

Tom Alexander, chief executive officer of Orange UK, said it will be an exciting day not only for the company, but for its employees and customers too.

"Since we announced the iPhone on Orange we have already seen more than a quarter of a million customers register their interest on our website," he stated.

Mr Alexander added that the network provider has an ambition to become the destination brand for users of high-end mobiles – and the launch of the iPhone is helping it fulfil its goal.

If consumers are looking for other handsets to replace a used mobile, they might be interested in other models available on Orange pay monthly plans.

The network provider also offers the Samsung Jet S8000 and the Motorola DEXT handsets.
