It depends on the model. For many DSLR and mirrorless cameras we offer two quote options — 'Body Only' and 'with [kit] lens'. Choose the option that matches what you're sending. If your camera originally came with a kit lens like the Canon EF-S 18-55mm or Nikon AF-P 18-55mm, you'll usually get more for the body-and-lens combination than for the body on its own. Before sending your camera, back up any photos or videos on the memory card and then format the card inside the camera. Remove the memory card — we don't need it. Sign out of any cloud accounts (iCloud Photos, Google Photos, Fujifilm Camera Remote, etc.) and perform a factory reset via the camera menu. Charge the battery so we can power the camera up for testing. Pack the camera securely in the Enviropack with a lens cap and any kit lens you're sending with it.

Yes, please include the original battery and charger for the 'Excellent' condition grade — we can't offer the top price without them. A hot-shoe cover, lens cap and body cap should also be included where possible. You can keep any memory cards, camera bags, tripods, remote releases or flash units — those don't affect the trade-in price. For 'Good', 'Average' and 'Faulty' grades, missing cables and chargers are expected and won't reduce the offer beyond the grade selected.
