Is the Motorola E series any good?

The Motorola Moto E 2nd Gen, although not the most up-to-date mobile and considered an old Motorola phone, is a strong, little powerhouse which was the second instalment of the Moto E Series from Motorola. Compared to the original Moto Series release previously, the 2nd Gen has many significant upgrades, it is the ultimate budget phone perfect for anyone new to the world of tech and is even great for anyone who doesn’t use their mobile so much… but still wants a device to stay connected.

Focussing on the Moto E 2nd Gen, many features make this budget phone worthwhile. It supports 4G, which can be rare for extreme budget phones, it has a great screen size for an overall cheap mini phone, it reaches a storage capacity of 8GB and finally has an impressive front and back camera.

Although the Motorola Moto E 2nd Generation doesn’t take our top spot for the best smartphone camera of all time, it certainly does well for its price. Offering both a front and back camera, with a 5MP back camera which is very good for a budget phone, and auto-focus features, the phone’s maximum resolution is 2560x1920 pixels, which is great for a phone of 4.5” in screen size.
