What happens to the data on our devices?

Every device is logged against your order on arrival, by IMEI or serial number, and then given a certified data wipe that is recorded and auditable. Data destruction happens as part of processing, before a device goes anywhere else, so nothing personal survives to a second owner or to a recycling partner.

Can we have a data-erasure certificate?

Yes. Ask for one when you book, or reply to any of our emails, and we will send a data-erasure certificate for your order for your records.

Do we still need to reset the devices ourselves?

Please do. Sign each device out of iCloud (Find My) or its Google account, remove it from any device management (MDM) system, and factory reset it. A device still locked to an account cannot be bought, and under our trade-in terms removing your data before you send a device is your responsibility. Our own wipe on arrival is a second line of defence, not a replacement for yours.

How is the collection arranged?

You choose a working day when you book and DPD collect from your business address, free of charge. Pack everything into one sturdy box (or tell us how many boxes), and stick on the DPD label we email you. You can follow the parcel with DPD the whole way.

How is the price worked out?

Every device is tested and graded individually when it arrives. You then get one email with one offer for the whole lot, listing each device, its condition and its price. Accept it with one click, or ask for everything back free of charge.

How and when do we get paid?

By one bank transfer for the whole order, typically within 1 to 3 working days of accepting the offer. You can give us your bank details when you book or later, from a secure link in our email. Bank details are encrypted before they are stored.

Will we be emailed about every single device?

No. A bulk trade-in is one order, so you get one email at each stage: when the collection is booked, when your box arrives, when your offer is ready, and when you are paid.

What if some devices are locked or broken?

Broken devices still have value and are priced on their condition. A device we cannot buy, usually because it is still locked to an account, is shown on your offer at £0. If you reject the offer, we return everything.
