About Sue Ryder
Sue Ryder has been supporting people through the hardest moments of their lives for over 70 years. We provide expert palliative care in our hospices and in people's own homes, and we support anyone living with grief, whether or not they have used our care.
Our nurses and doctors look after people with life-limiting illnesses, and our Hospice at Home teams visit people where they are most comfortable. Alongside that, our bereavement services, our Online Bereavement Community and our free Grief Guide give people somewhere to turn when someone dies.
In 2024/25 we gave more than 655,100 hours of end-of-life care, made over 59,000 face-to-face community visits, and welcomed more than 220,000 people to our Online Bereavement Community.
We rely on donations, fundraising and our charity shops to keep all of this running.
