Is Galaxy J6 still supported?
Released in 2018, the Galaxy J6 was Samsung’s successor to the J5 (2017). And while the super AMOLED display is a clear nod to its younger sibling, these newer handsets are worlds apart. First off, it’s 0.6 inches bigger and has a 76.5% screen-to-body ratio, making for impeccable multimedia viewing. Then there’s a larger resolution (720 x 1480 pixels) and slick 18.5:9 body ratio, developed to make the Infinity Display pop like no other previous Samsung handset.
Aside from the gorgeous screen, you’ll receive a 13MP rear camera (the same as the J5) but with a more powerful front-facing selfie lens (8MB). You can also expect LED flash, panorama functionality, HDR, and video shooting at 1080p/30fps — more than enough to capture professional pics. Design-wise, the polycarbonate back feels premium to hold, while the addition of a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor makes for easy phone unlocking.
