Finding your model
Look at the back of the iPad - the model number is etched in tiny text near the bottom. Match it against Apple’s identify-your-iPad page to get the right generation.Prepare your iPad before posting
- Back up to iCloud or your computer. Once we reset, the data is gone.
- Sign out of iCloud: Settings → Apple ID → Sign Out. Removes Activation Lock - without this we can’t process the trade-in.
- Remove the SIM (Cellular models only).
- Factory reset: Settings → General → Transfer or Reset iPad → Erase All Content and Settings.
Activation Lock
If we receive an iPad still tied to iCloud, you’ll have a 14-day grace period to remove it remotely from icloud.com. After that we process at £0 - so please double-check.Send it to us
